REGISTRATIONS

To best ensure you are cleared by Football West to play in time for a given match, your registration must be completed by 12 noon on the Thursday of that week. That means you must sign up for a MyFootballClub account, register with Curtin on MyFootballClub, upload a passport style photo to your MyFootball Club Account and pay or organise payment. If you miss any of these steps, you won't be able to play. No exceptions. Details on how to do each of these steps are outlined below, please read them carefully.

International Players If you have played overseas you must also gain clearance from your club, this is arranged by Football West, however they do need you to supply the details. If you are considering joining, email info@curtinsoccer.com with your name, date of birth, the international club you played for (including what country) and what year you last played for them as soon as possible so we can get clearance. Even if you then decide not to join, it speeds up the process in the case that you do (clearances usually take a week.)

How To Register on MyFootballClub

You can only register with Curtin Uni Soccer Club online via MyFootballClub. There are three levels of registration on offer. So players who struggle financially can afford to play.

  • $200 – you will be a team rep for either equipment, admin, canteen or social committee these positions are limited so if you are keen get in quick, you do however need to talk to a committee member for approval into one of these roles.
  • $250 – you will be asked to do some fund raising, and attend social functions to help with club fundraising
  • $300 – no fund raising required, this is for those members who simply don’t have spare time to help raise money for the club.

You will see the full T&C’s of each level when you register on MY Football club, or if you wish a guide to what jobs do what please click here.

You can also order extra club merchandise when you sign up. After you have selected a package and accepted the terms and conditions There is a button to add additional items to your invoice. Here you can purchase jackets, track pants, polo shirts, singlets, extra shorts and extra socks. It is worth noting that short and sock designs have changed this season and you will be expected to play in the new design even if you have shorts and socks from a previous season. You do get a free pair of shorts and socks with your registration and you can still train in last seasons gear of course, so don't throw them away!

The last stage of registration is a short questionnaire, you must complete at least the mandatory questions (marked by a red asterix) and save your answers or the registration will not show up as valid. The questionnaire should only take a minute or so to fill out, make sure you click the button that says 'save answers' when you are done!

We don't make any money on your membership fee. Just the registration cost alone to Football West and FFA comes to $123 leaving us with roughly $100 to $150 to cover costs relating to hiring coaches, referee-costs and material-costs (balls, cones, shirts, shorts, socks etc.). Season runs from April to September with over 25 games, that's roughly $8-$10 for a couple of practice sessions and a game every week.
